Four Ways to Make Money Online for Christmas 2013

Christmas can be one of the most stressful times of the year. People tend to spend more money than they actually have. They don’t have to. Not charging presents can be a great way to cut down on the stress of the holidays. ¬†Getting a somewhat early start is very important in building up a cache of cash to pay for the presents. There are several ways to get funds online without leaving home to pay for Christmas presents. Here are four of the easiest:

1. CashCrate

This site pays users for completing cash offers (most of which are actually free) and online surveys. Most of the surveys pay less than $1, but there are a total of nine that a person could conceivably complete each day. Checking in and watching short videos will also earn a bit of change. Those who can earn $20 in a month get a check. This site also has a great referral program that can add up the earnings even more quickly. I’ve personally earned over $700 from CashCrate in just over a year. You can sign up for CashCrate here. ¬†A very similar site that can also pay out is Treasure Trooper, but this site has a referral system that is not nearly as lucrative for those who try to sign other people up. I’ve actually made money on both of these sites.

2. SwagBucks

This site is primarily a search-and-win site. Users sign up for SwagBucks and earn your first 30 in this virtual currency. Redemptions for $5 e-gift cards start at just 450 SwagBucks (most $5 cards are 500 SwagBucks). These gift cards also come in denominations that are up to $100 and above. Those who put in minimal effort should be able to get a couple of the $5 variety each month. Over the course of a year, that’s $120 in e-gift cards. Of course, with the popularity of giving gift cards for Christmas gifts, signing up for SwagBucks is a no-brainer. You can sign up for SwagBucks here.

3. Bubblews

This site allows users to submit their own content. As long as it follows the Terms of Service on the site, each view will earn a penny. Each comment on one of your posts will earn you a penny. Each like that one of your posts gets will earn you a penny. There is some earning potential here. I’ve done little until the summer and earned over $50. Those who post the maximum allowable number of posts each day tend to get a payout at least every week. Payouts start out at $25 via PayPal. You can sign up for Bubblews here.

4. MTurk

An additional site that will allow users to earn some cash for Christmas is Amazon’s MTurk. Users complete short (and usually easy) tasks for a little bit of cash. These tasks add up, and users can cash them out as Amazon credit or transfer them into their bank accounts in amounts as little as $1. There is no referral program for this site, and much of the work is monotonous. Those who have around 15 minutes a day to spare could probably earn a buck or two toward Christmas. You can sign up for MTurk here.

None of these sites is likely to make you rich, although at least one guy has made over $150,000 in about five years through CashCrate (most of it through referrals). By contrast, I’ve made about $700 in one year on the site. While they won’t make you rich, using one or two of them can earn you at least a C-note or two before Christmas, and you can use this money earned in your pajamas toward getting great Christmas presents for your family and friends.

Disclosure: I will possibly get some referral income if you sign up for the first three recommendations in this post. This will not come out of your earnings. You will earn the same amount whether you use my referral link or not, depending upon the time and effort expended. I thank you if you choose to utilize my links. I usually only recommend sites that I’ve actually earned money from, and I’ve definitely earned money from each of the four sites here.

I have attempted to do so. Some months, several will pay off. Others, I will get income from one or two. I just varies over time.
